David Sodergren lives in Scotland with his wife Heather.

Growing up, he was the kind of kid who collected rubber skeletons and lived for horror movies. Not much has changed since then.

His best known books include the gory and romantic fairy tale The Haar, the blood-drenched folk-horror Maggie’s Grave, and the analog-horror fever dream Rotten Tommy. David also writes under the pseudonym Carl John Lee, publishing splatterpunk
novels such as Psychic Teenage Bloodbath and Cannibal Vengeance.

David Sodergren answered Taylor's question: I randomly selected The Haar off a bookshelf one day and instantly fell in love with your writing, as grotesque as it is, lol. I recommended it to the library I work at, and we now offer each of your books for our patrons to check out. So far, a lot of them love them, especially in this upcoming Spooky Season. Anyways, for my question... can you give us little hints about the upcoming books you're working on? Well, I just announced my new one, a medieval folk horror called Maggot Road. After that, I'm working on a 1950s-style sci-fi and a ghost story, and about a million other things.
