I try to make sure that I sit down and right something every day though, even if it is the worst possible 500 words. For me, the routine is so important - every author says that you can't edit a blank page and that is so true!

I always write best in the mornings so usually, by mid-afternoon, I'm hitting my head against the keyboard. I know then that it's time to stop and get some fresh air. A long walk in the park usually helps me switch off (a bit!)(less)

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Abbie Greaves You get to escape into your imagination every single day. There is honestly nothing that I love more. Reading is a very close second!
