If pressed to tell you about herself, Lilye Kerryna would likely shrug and mumble something about cats, books, and coffee. Born in Texas with perpetually inkstained fingers, she has always had a deep love for reading, writing, and mythology. Wishing to create the books she always wanted to read, she has been crafting words into her own adult fantasy and scifi universes for over a decade.

Lilye is the author of the Tapestries of Fate series and is currently working on the second book of the series.

If I'm still blocked after that, I move on to a different scene. I don't try to force past the block. I just work elsewhere. The thing about writer's block is that they have a weight to them, an area they cover. So sometimes I just have to step away from that blocked scene to work elsewhere. Eventually, when I return to that scene, I'll have discovered the block is gone.(less)

“Oh, a quiet one. We don't get many of your kind. Most wail about their deaths or rattle on with a thousand questions that they already know the answer to.”
