“Energy follows intention. And the more we live with intention and awareness, the more we can let go of the weight we are holding onto and the more we can move into ease.”
Hania Khuri-Trapper, Rest & Return: Weekly Reminders to Pause, Reflect, and Just Be

“You are the sun.
You are powerful beyond measure.
You are life-giving.
You nurture those around you.
You bring warmth and love to the world.
You lift everyone’s mood.
You are pure energy.
You radiate and shine.

But then the clouds come.
And they feel more powerful than you.
They dim your spirit and hold you back.
They cause you to question your authentic self.
They bring you into darkness.
And make the ground feel heavier.
The weight is sometimes too much to bear.

But you are the sun.
You are life-giving.
And you are forever.
And when you harness that power,
the clouds have nothing to say
and away they float to bring their struggle to another star.
They are temporary and you are forever.

You are the sun.”
Hania Khuri-Trapper, Rest & Return: Weekly Reminders to Pause, Reflect, and Just Be

“When we learn to soften, we
respond to our pain from a place of ease. We acknowledge the pain we hold,
but we soften the grip, cradle our struggles and try not to attach to them.
We forgive—ourselves, others—and find the path towards peace.”
Hania Khuri-Trapper, Rest & Return: Weekly Reminders to Pause, Reflect, and Just Be

“The mountain ahead of you is no greater than the thousands of mountains you’ve already climbed. Stay the course. You can get through anything one breath at a time.”
Hania Khuri-Trapper

“The world may feel like it’s spinning out of control, but you don’t have to.”
Hania Khuri-Trapper, Rest & Return: Weekly Reminders to Pause, Reflect, and Just Be

“Maybe our suffering is not what we are carrying but how we are carrying it.”
Hania Khuri-Trapper, Rest & Return: Weekly Reminders to Pause, Reflect, and Just Be

“Our bodies and our minds are designed to bear weight, but that doesn’t mean we need to keep holding in everything we accumulate along the way.”
