Writer’s block is normal if you’re unaware of why you feel blocked, unmotivated on uninspired.

I get stuck many times in the middle of a novel. I lose my muse and don’t feel like writing. I stare at the computer screen and no words come to mind. My head feels stuck, stuck, stuck. It can be frustrating.

Write What You Know
Write down the facts and everything else you know about the topic you’re finding challenging or having a problem with. Use a mind map, index cards or bullet points. Your job is to excavate what’s in your mind about the topic at hand.

Writing down the facts will give you an idea of what you need to research and help you identify topics to include.

Free Write
What is on your mind right now? Write about it. Write down anything that you can. By writing about something, even if it is not about the topic you are writing about can get your creative juices flowing.

Write Down Your Accomplishments
Write down what you’ve accomplished so far.
Research? Done.
Opening angle? Done.
Writing the first draft? In progress.

Acknowledging your accomplishments unlocks a sense of pride. It’s a reminder that you’re making progress even if you feel stuck.(less)

There are many people who are eagerly waiting for some different answer to the information they want to know.

The best part about being a writer is that you do not have to think about what to do and how to do. Your job is to write and other’s job is to read.

Being a writer gives you the graciousness of knowing yourself. You came to know how fast you can think and select the perfect thoughts inside your mind.
Research is a vital part of creating a believable world. I love the fact that I can ring someone up, explain that I am writing a book on a subject which they know something about, and ask if I can have a look around their business(less)
