Trisha Messmer always had an obsession with reading, starting at the tender age of four (or so her mother told her).

Finding some of the things she read lacking-or at least not ending the way she thought they should-she started making up her own stories. They lived within her vivid imagination for a long, long time until one day they broke free and put themselves on a page. Sometimes things really do take on a life of their own.She hopes you enjoy her musings as much as she enjoyed writing them, If they make you laugh, sigh, or even cry, she would love hearing about it. Hello!

First, thank you for your kind words about my books. I'm so glad they've brought you some reading enjoyment.

You are absolutely correct. There is more to the series. I'm a slow writer (and I write all my books myself. No A.I. involved.) My schedule was delayed a bit due to a medical emergency and two surgeries last year. But now I'm back on track.

In fact, I'm editing the fourth book right now and expect it to be released around March 1st, 2026. Then there will be one more book where the identity of The Muckraker will be revealed (there have been lots of hints and speculation in the previous books). I'm really hoping that I will be able to release that last book before the end of 2026. Fingers crossed.

Thanks again for reaching out and for your interest in my books. It's much appreciated!

I think every author has a different way of dealing with this issue. For me, I take a break, even if it's just 30 minutes. I'll find something good to read (there's never a shortage in my TBR pile). I listen to music, especially if I'm struggling for an idea for a new book. Then I try to put some words on a page.(less)
