I write because life is a story. If we're products of life then we're part of its story. I write The Sacred Emblem because there's more to life than what appears on the surface. At the very core there's a beating heart, a pulse that will not stay quiet, a thirst unquenchable, a fire unfathomed. We came to give that core a voice, to verbalize its story.

The Sacred Emblem is a YA novel--but written for all ages--with a strong philosophical undertone. If you’re from this planet Earth, Ozar as it is called in The Sacred Emblem, then you've probably wondered why people do the things they do. In that case, this is the novel for you.
