I find great inspiration hiking in the mountains, which are only about 5 miles from my house. I have several places I go where no one goes and it's very quiet. There, I put away all thoughts about anything that doesn't have to do with what I'm writing about. I focus my thoughts exclusively on what I'm writing and generally all kinds of insights and inspiration come to me. It works for me. (less)

1. I get to share my thoughts with the world.
2. I can do it anywhere. I love not working in an office.
3. With digital media and the internet, you can get your ideas out to the world so much easier and at a far lower cost than you could have 10 years ago.
4. Since much of what I want to write focuses on some aspect of the Human Story, I get to talk to all kinds of people, and I mean a LOT of people.

Inspiration at its best I couldn’t put this book down. Steve Young is a true hero in a time when real heroes can be hard to find.
