A war correspondent and documentary filmmaker, Toby Muse's first book is Kilo: Inside the Deadliest Cocaine Cartels. The book is made up of his experiences reporting the cocaine wars in Colombia, where he lived for 15 years. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, the BBC, CNN, Vice and others. He has reported from the frontlines of the wars in Syria and Iraq. He grew up in London but now lives in Washington, DC. He never declines a rum from a stranger.
