My next book will be about my mother Elvira, I will write it because it will be therapeutic for me, and it will also be a way to honor her. I had another literary project in mind which I will put aside for now. It is difficult to deal with the death of a loved one and I believe that the sadness that brings the loss of a mother will never end with time. Either way, I will do my best and get to work right away to write this new book about her.

The Diabolical Miracles of Vesturbær is the third and final part of the Icelandic saga of Valentino Voto, following The Incredible Journey of a Neapolitan Puffin (2018) and Back to Thule (2019).

Valentino Voto and his friend Marco Oddur decide to spend the evening in a Reykjavík club. Marco is strange, almost unrecognizable. But what will happen shortly thereafter in his villa in Suðurgata? Why doesn't Lena, his fiancée, answer the phone? Autumn is coming on the island with its decadent atmosphere and a "diabolical miracle" is about to upset the unchanging quiet of the Vesturbær neighborhood. Valentino will be drawn into a swirling and inexorable plot that will involve him in occult practices of seven thousand years old: sometimes evil comes from the past.
