Following a career as a business executive, I now have now launched myself a new career.
Recently, by chance I discovered the amazing family story of a distant relative who was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross, the highest award in the UK for bravery and gallantry. In fact my hero was the youngest to be awarded the honour in World War 2.
The story touched my soul and it inspired me to write my first novel of fiction, ITALIAN BLOOD BRITISH HEART.

Today marks the 75th anniversary of the death of Dennis Donnini VC. At the age of 19 this brave lad, barely 5ft tall, the son of an Italian immigrant with an Ice Cream shop, sacrificed his young life during World War 2 to save his colleagues and for the greater good in the battle against the Nazis.
