Should I write the x-rated stuff, or tone it down?
I struggled with this quite honestly for a long time before I started writing my first novel. However, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to make it as believable as I could. With that, I had to write about some very uncomfortable situations. I had to put myself into some pretty dark places when thinking about what an antagonist might actually say or do.
