My purpose in life is to be an effective communicator of God’s Word. To be effective, I must write in a way that the average person can understand. Frankly, most theologians write books that read like a textbook. Many people have told me that my gift is to take complex theology and write it in such a way that anyone can understand it. Don’t water down the biblical truth, but write in a way that is readable. (less)

A Time to Mourn

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. message 1: by Al

Al Don't Throw The Believer Out With The Baptistry Water really ministered to me. I was really touched by Timothy's Momma. It reminded me of my own mom. I also loved your sense of humor. Thanks for writing it. I look forward to your next book.
