After graduating college, I spent three years trying to find a job—each interview ending in rejection, often because of my disability. Instead of giving up, I chose to build something of my own. I founded Purple Diamond Press, and today, our award-winning children’s books teach kindness, diversity, and inclusion in schools across the nation.
