I have a Ph.D. in Mythological Studies and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.

I write and read science fiction, mythology and fairy tale retellings, and a lot of theory about the latter. I am a storytelling nerd, and have the book shelf to prove it.

Retelling Myths

I started researching and writing a myth retelling in 2014-2015. The idea grew from a short story into a novel, into a series of novels.

I ended up researching these things straight into grad school, and got a Ph.D. in Mythological studies as a result of that retelling process. I'm still editing the novel I started a decade ago.
