Happinetz – A digital wellness solution for parents and children
With schoolwork, entertainment, and social connections all shifting to the digital space, our children are growing up in an age where the internet is both a blessing and a challenge. On one hand, it gives them opportunities to learn and connect. On the other hand, it exposes them to content that may not always be suitable for their age, which can impact not just their growth but also their mental wellbeing. It is equally liberating and terrifying for parents.
That’s why when I came across Happinetz, I felt a sense of relief as both a parent and as a mental health advocate.
Happinetz - A digital wellness solution for parents and children 1What is Happinetz?Happinetz is a child-safe internet solution designed to create a healthy online environment at home. It’s a simple plug-and-play box that connects to your Wi-Fi and filters out unsafe or age-inappropriate content. This isn’t about controlling our children it’s about making sure that they grow up with healthier digital habits.
Parents can manage what their kids access online.Kids still get the freedom to explore safely. The whole process is stress-free, with a user-friendly app for control and monitoring.Studies show that unrestricted internet use can lead to sleep issues, anxiety, low self-esteem, and even addiction-like behaviour among kids. Excessive screen time, exposure to harmful content, and the constant pull of the digital world can leave children feeling overwhelmed and distracted.
Why internet safety matters for kids?Children today spend more time online than any generation before them. Whether it’s online classes, gaming, or social media, they are constantly exposed to digital content. While this has its benefits, it can also lead to:
Information overload that causes stress and anxiety.Exposure to inappropriate or harmful content.Lack of boundaries between online and offline life.Increased risk of cyberbullying and online predators.Mental health benefits of using Happinetz as a safe internet filterAs parents, we want to give our children the freedom to explore, but we also need to set healthy boundaries. I found this balance with Happinetz and chose to join hands so that more parents could benefit from it –
Kids are not exposed to overwhelming or harmful online content.
Without distractions, children can concentrate on studies, hobbies, and family time.
Limiting late-night browsing helps in better sleep cycles.
You don’t have to constantly monitor or argue with your child about screen time.
Fewer digital conflicts at home mean more open conversations and trust.
Parents can manage their own digital distractions alongside their kids.
You feel equipped to handle one of the biggest modern-day parenting challenges – Social Media.
Happinetz - A digital wellness solution for parents and children 2My personal take as a parent & mental health advocateAs someone who deeply values emotional wellbeing, I see Happinetz not just as a digital product but as a parenting ally. It is about ensuring child’s digital journey support their growth, creativity, and mental health.

Holistic self-care routines for women balancing career and family
Balancing a career and family can feel like walking a tightrope. On some days, we feel on top of the world productive at work, present with our children, and still managing to squeeze in a few moments for ourselves. But on other days, the constant juggle between deadlines, meetings, household chores, and family commitments leave us exhausted, overwhelmed, and guilty for not doing “enough.”
If this resonates with you, know that you’re not alone. Many women find themselves in this cycle. That’s where holistic self-care comes in and trust me it is not about just movie nights or spa days, but a deeper, more mindful way of looking after your body, mind, and soul.
In this blog, I will share practical holistic self-care routines that you can easily weave into your busy lifestyle, so you can feel balanced, calm, and more present for yourself and your loved ones.
10 holistic self-care rituals which you can incorporate in your life easilyUnlike quick fixes, holistic self-care is about nurturing yourself in a way that supports your physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. When you take care of yourself, you show up as a calmer parent, a more focused professional, and a happier individual.
1. Start your day with gentle movementBegin your mornings with 10–15 minutes of yoga, stretching, or a mindful walk.
Rushing to pack lunchboxes or logging in for an early Zoom call, mornings can be chaotic. But giving yourself even a small window of movement can set a positive tone for the rest of your day.
Why it works: Gentle physical activity stimulates circulation, boosts mood, and helps your body wake up naturally. Yoga or light stretches are especially effective in releasing any stiffness and bringing clarity to the mind. It also helps you to release from the guilt of not doing anything for your body.
2. Practice daily breathwork or meditationJust 5 minutes of deep breathing or guided meditation can transform your mood.
You don’t need an hour-long meditation session to feel grounded. Find a quiet spot, close your eyes, and take a few conscious breaths also called as yogic breaths when you breathe from your abdomen.
Why it works: Breathwork calms the nervous system, reduces anxiety, and increases focus helping you transition smoothly between “work mode” and “family mode.”
3. Nourish your body with wholesome foodsPlan easy, balanced meals that fuel your energy without overwhelming your schedule.
Instead of skipping meals, prepare quick options like overnight oats, grain bowls, or smoothies. Keep healthy snacks like nuts, fruits, or hummus with veggie sticks on hand for busy afternoons.
Why it works: Stable blood sugar levels keep your energy and mood steady, reducing burnout and irritability.
4. Create “Me Time” in small pocketsSchedule at least 15–20 minutes daily just for yourself.
It could be journaling, enjoying a cup of tea in silence, reading, or simply sitting by a window and reflecting. Protect this time the same way you protect a meeting on your calendar.
Why it works: Regular “me time” recharges our emotional batteries, helps processing thoughts, and reminds you that your identity goes beyond work and family roles.
5. Digital boundaries for mental peaceCreate a “digital sunset” by reducing screen time an hour before bed.
Constant notifications, work emails, and endless scrolling add invisible stress. Disconnecting allows your mind to slow down and prepares your body for restful sleep.
Why it works: Reduced blue light exposure improves sleep quality, while less screen time creates space for real-life connections with your family or simply with yourself.
6. Sleep as a non-negotiableTip: Prioritise 7–8 hours of restorative sleep, even if it means saying “no” to some late-night tasks.
Good sleep is the foundation of holistic health. Try simple rituals like herbal tea, warm showers, or bed-time reading to create a good sleep routine.
Why it works: Sleep heals your body, restores your brain function, and helps you show up with more patience and energy the next day.
7. Connect with supportive communitiesTip: Surround yourself with people who uplift you be it a circle of friends, parenting groups, or wellness communities.
If you’re a working mom, you already carry enough pressure. Avoid spaces that drain you and lean into those that understand your struggles and celebrate your wins.
Why it works: Meaningful connections reduce feelings of isolation and give you a safe space to share, learn, and grow.
9. Move your body joyfully (Not just for fitness)Tip: Dance in your kitchen, take the stairs, or do a 10-minute stretch between calls.
Don’t think of movement as another task on your to-do list. Find something that genuinely brings you joy be it gardening, dancing, or walking with your child.
Why it works: Movement releases endorphins, combats stress, and strengthens both your body and mind.
10. Give yourself permission to restTip: Remember, rest is productive.
You don’t need to “earn” rest by finishing all your tasks. Allow yourself to pause, nap, or simply do nothing without guilt.
Why it works: Pausing helps prevent burnout, irritability, restores creativity, and builds resilience for the long run.
Balancing a career and family is not about doing it all it’s about doing what truly matters and taking care of yourself in the process. Start small pick one or two practices from the list above and gently integrate them into your daily routine. Over time, these small steps create big shifts in your wellbeing.

Sanity Daily on Josh Talks Hindi
Last month, I had the honour of sharing my story on Josh Talks Hindi, a platform I deeply admire for giving voice to real, raw stories. As I stood on that stage, it felt like every wound, every scar, and every silent night of pain had a purpose after all.
Through this talk, for the first time, I opened up about parts of my life that I had buried under years of survival – the breakdown of my marriage. The crushing silence of depression and the toll it took on my body, mind, and spirit.
At the time, I was just a woman trying to hold herself together for her daughter. A single mother, facing grief, guilt, and loneliness in a society that often blames women for simply choosing themselves. But in that darkness, I found a tiny spark writing. And that’s how Sanity Daily was born. This blog became my safe space, a small corner on the internet where I poured my truths, my fears, and eventually, my healing. What began as a coping mechanism has today transformed into a platform that touches thousands of lives every month, reminding people they’re not alone in their pain.
And life came full circle when I moved to the UK to pursue my MSc. Despite the financial, emotional, and cultural challenges, I kept going. Today, I’m proud to share that I’ve been offered a fully funded research opportunity in the UK one that focuses on empowering women in marginalised communities through entrepreneurship and mental health awareness.
From divorce to depression, from living with parents in Indore to speaking on international stage I’ve learned that rock bottom is sometimes the solid foundation we need to build the life we deserve.
If you’re reading this and you’re in a dark place, know this: You’re not broken, you’re becoming. And your story? It matters.
Love and light,
Priyanka Joshi

We are One of the Top 10 Voices of 2025
I am beyond humbled and honoured to share that I have been recognised as one of the 2025 Top 10 Voices by the Women’s Business Club – a global celebration of women who are using their voice and platform to make a meaningful impact in the world.
When I started Sanity Daily, it was born out of my own struggles with mental health, motherhood, and the silent battles many of us face behind closed doors. I wanted to create a space where women, especially mothers, could feel seen, supported, and heard. A place where we could prioritise our wellbeing without guilt or shame.
To now be recognised on a global platform alongside such phenomenal women voices from different corners of the world, each breaking barriers in their own unique ways is overwhelming in the best possible way. This award celebrates not just what we’ve achieved, but the courage to share our stories, raise our voices, and lead with authenticity.
As Angela De Souza, the founder of Women’s Business Club, so powerfully said: “Women’s voices are more than sound — they are movement, legacy, and power.” I am proud to stand among women who dare to speak their truth and use their platforms to uplift others.
We are One of the Top 10 Voices of 2025 4Thank you to everyone who has walked with me on this journey – my readers, podcast listeners, and mental health advocates. Your support reminds me daily why I chose to show up and use my voice.
Here’s to continuing to build a world where every woman’s voice matters and where healing, empowerment, and courage are celebrated every single day.
With gratitude,

A short hike to a secret waterfall with group members or fellow yogis! We practise and get trained in a group of 18 students or learners from different parts of the world. It is amazing to see that 80% of the learners are from the overseas and are so intrigued with the Hindu Yogic culture and philosophies. We wake up at 4:30 am every morning and the training lasts for 8 hours every day which includes practising different forms of yoga, learning yoga philosophies and getting acquainted with the teaching methodologies. I sleep at 9:30 pm and have not drank coffee for almost 2 weeks, phew I have managed to survive. Firstly, the place Rishikesh is a teacher in itself. From the holy Ganga river to the ashrams and Himalayan foothills, everything here invites introspection. It’s peaceful, spiritual, and ideal for deep study and transformation. I am halfway through my program and I have managed to explore some parts of Rishikesh, made friends with my cohort and learn something new each day. It is commitment for self-enhancement and I am loving this journey.
Why is Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Center (RYTTC) the best yoga teacher training centre in Rishikesh?A wellness professional’s perspective, who works in the field of mental health and wellness, I’m always seeking tools that help people reconnect with themselves, regulate their emotions, and find inner calm. Yoga and meditation has long been one of those proven tools not just for physical strength but for emotional resilience and mental clarity. I have been in touch with Yoga since childhood, all thanks to my father. You do not have to be an experienced yoga practitioner to do this training, you can enrol for this training even if you are a beginner, or just want to explore the path of spirituality through yogic practise.
That’s exactly why I chose Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Center (RYTTC). Their 200-hour program is not just about asanas it’s about transforming the self from the inside out, aligning with self.

Whether you’re juggling motherhood, work stress, or just the mental load of everyday life, a simple 15-minute evening ritual self-care routine can help you reclaim your energy and reconnect with your body. Why Evening Rituals Matter for Burnout RecoveryRelated read: Feeling Lost in Motherhood? 7 Ways to Reconnect with Your Inner Self
Studies show that a consistent evening routine lowers cortisol levels (the stress hormone) and helps signal the body that it’s time to rest and repair. According to the National Institutes of Health, mindfulness and breathwork have measurable effects on stress reduction and sleep quality. 7 Ways to Reconnect with Your Inner Self if you are Feeling lost in Motherhood
Motherhood is beautiful. But let’s be honest it’s also exhausting and identity-consuming. You go from being someone with hobbies, goals, and a skincare routine to a human napkin, snack-fetcher, and crisis manager. Somewhere between diaper changes and school pickups, you whisper to yourself, “Who even am I anymore?” “Am I even doing things right?”
Trust me, as mother we all have been there. A few years ago, I was a newly divorced single mom, embracing single motherhood after motherhood and heartbreak in one messy big bowl of emotional soup. I left everything behind and moved to the UK for my second master’s degree. I was chasing more than a degree as I was searching for myself, rebuilding myself.
If you feel lost in motherhood, you are not broken. You are evolving. And I want to share 7 simple yet soul-deep ways that helped me reconnect with myself and might just help you too
Before the day grabs you by the hair (literally or figuratively), carve out 10–15 minutes just for you. It could be as simple as sipping chai/coffee without anyone screaming “Maaa!”, journaling, or five minutes of silence with your breath.
Pro Tip: I used to write one line a day and say it loud “You got this” It sounds small, but it became my anchor.
2. Name Your Feelings Out LoudYes, actually say it. “I feel invisible.” “I feel drained.” It’s powerful. Naming emotions helps your brain process them. According to research by UCLA neuroscientist Dr. Matthew Lieberman, naming feelings reduces the amygdala’s stress response aka, it calms your chaos brain.
And no, talking to yourself doesn’t make you weird. It makes you wise. Or at least fun at parties.
3. Schedule a Weekly Sanity Date with YourselfYou schedule doctor visits and parent-teacher meetings. Why not schedule one non-negotiable hour every week just for you?
Ideas:
Attend a mindful breathing session with me (priyanka@sanitydaily.com)Sit at a cafe with a book or a journal or just sit with your thoughtsTake a long walk listening to your own playlist, songs you love. This was my game-changer. I started a ritual called “Solo Sundays.” Even if it meant hiding in the bathroom with a scented candle and my favorite podcast, it mattered.
4. Declutter Your Guilt DrawerMum guilt is real and relentless regardless if you’re co-parenting, working, or just breathing. Write a list of all the things you feel guilty for. Then, beside each one, write: “Doing my best.” Because you are. Even when your best looks like surviving on toast crusts and dry shampoo. Girl, you are doing it all.
5. Start a Journal but Make It UnfilteredNot the Pinterest kind, you don’t have to share it with anyone. The real, messy, typo-ridden journal where you write about how you feel like you’re failing and want to scream into a pillow. Your journal doesn’t need to be pretty. It needs to be honest.
Say it loud – I don’t need to be perfect, I just need to show up for yourself.
6. Rediscover One Thing That Was YoursWhat did you love before motherhood? Painting? Dancing? Baking banana bread that nobody eats but everyone smells?
Pick one thing. Do it again. Even if you’re rusty. Even if you feel silly. That act alone whispers to your soul, “I remember you.”
7. Say No Without ApologisingThis might be the hardest and most healing thing you do. You don’t owe the PTA, the neighbour’s dog, or even your own inner critic every ounce of you.
Saying “No” isn’t rejection. It’s protection, it is about putting healthy boundaries.
You’re Still in There and Doing Your BestYou haven’t disappeared. You’ve just been buried under love, responsibility, and unmatched socks.
Reconnecting with yourself isn’t about becoming who you were before motherhood it’s about meeting the new version of you. The wiser, stronger, funnier (yes, really) version who’s still got it even if “it” is hiding behind a Lego pile.
