I live and work on my family’s cattle ranch in eastern Montana. I have a flock of chickens, a hyper golden retriever, some cows, and a few horses.
I enjoy fantasy and science fiction and my head is full of wild sci-fi story ideas, some involving apocalypses and others involving aliens.

For those who do finish things, I suggest learning the craft. Follow some blogs, read some books on writing, get your writing critiqued.(less)

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jessi L. Roberts I've had the universe thought up for a long time, much longer than I had the idea for Hand of Steel. I came up with Hand of Steel while reading Cinder…moreI've had the universe thought up for a long time, much longer than I had the idea for Hand of Steel. I came up with Hand of Steel while reading Cinder. A cyborg girl was an interesting idea, so that's where Krys was born, and her story developed from there.(less)
