Growing up in a small town in Texas, Steve Lamar loved music and he loved television.

“When I was a kid, I didn’t read comic books – I read the TV Guide. I loved all of the behind-the-scenes articles about shows and the business. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do, but I knew I wanted to work in show business.”

Steve pulled up his Texas roots and moved to Los Angeles soon after his 17th birthday, and never looked back.

A short time after arriving in Hollywood, Steve helped a friend move some furniture at a production office that was shutting down for the season. There he met Tom Patchett and James M. Jaffee.
