About Ron

Writing is a second career for Ron Thomas. He considers himself fortunate that his first career, in the hi-tech business world, entailed visits to many countries and exposed him to a variety of cultures and sparked a fascination with the histories that created them. His travels spawned the urge to write and contribute settings for much of his work. 'Should we be sending the children away to somewhere safer?' she asked. I'm 81 now and can still recall that day with surprising clarity.
The attack did little damage and many of the shells fell in a cemetery but the story is a series of mysteries, conundrums and paradoxes that have been written about without complete resolution.

“A historical novel and a good wig have much in common. It’s incumbent on the writer to make it as difficult as possible for the reader to see the join between fact and fiction.”
