Sony’s 3000 Pictures Acquires Film Rights To ‘I Think My Mother-In-Law Is Trying To Kill Me’

Thrilled to announce that Sony's 3000 Pictures has acquired the film rights to my short story "My Mother-in-Law is trying to kill me" and the amazing and talented writer Jessica Knoll (whose work I love and admire) has signed on to adapt and executive produce.

So touched and thrilled and excited. Much more to come here.

Diabolica Americana

I regularly forget to post here, but I am thrilled to announce that my short-story "East" will be appearing in Keith Anthony Baird's exciting anthology "Diabolica Americana," out this Halloween!

East is a story I'm very fond of and can't wait to share with you. Mysterious horrors, small New England towns, things that are not as they seem. I hope you'll love it.

Also, the TOC is FULL of talent, truly blessed and thankful to be a part.

Be sure to check it out!

Touching News

Wednesday I woke up to the news that a short story I published online last year, There is a serial killer that everyone else thinks is dead, won the NoSleep Award for the Best Story of 2019 with under 500 upvotes. I was extremely touched, this was a story I was fond of and was happy to see the appreciation for it.

Well, this morning I woke up to the news that my short story Forever, A Drug, had won the NoSleep Award for Best Single-Part Story of 2019. Truly cannot put this into words, this was an emotional writing process that really connected with people in a way I didn't anticipate.

I'm blown away, thanks to all who voted. There's more to come in 2020!

2020 Excitement

Got an email yesterday from Amazon, telling me that some guy named Nick Moore has new stuff coming out.

Wow! That was truly a wild feeling.

On March 1st, "Horror for the Holidays: Return to Serenity Falls" will be released. This is a wild project involving over 15 different writers coming together to all write bits of a story. I've got two chapters in this one, and it was a lot of fun to write.

On April 1st, my drabble "The Blood Accord" will appear in Eerie River Publishing's drabble collection "Forgotten Ones." Drabbles are very short stories that are exactly 100 words long! It's a fun bit of writing, and promises to be a great collection.

Finally, on April 18th, my original story "Wasps" will be available in the anthology "Blood and Beetles" from Nocturnal Sirens Publishing. This is a story I'm fond of, and is loosely connected to some stories I've published online in the past.

There is a *LOT* to come in 2020, hope you're as excited for it as I am.

Published Author

I am excited to announce I am now a published author!

This week I had two short stories published in anthologies I'm excited to share.

My story "The Serpent of Woodsfield" was published by Soteira Press in their anthology "The Monsters We Forgot, Vol. 3."

My story "The Christmas Hunt," was published by Noctural Sirens publishing in their anthology "Scary Snippets: Christmas Edition." This is an anthology of stories under 600 words, all with a holiday theme!

I hope you enjoy these stories, I've got a lot more coming!
