Wednesday I woke up to the news that a short story I published online last year,
There is a serial killer that everyone else thinks is dead, won the
NoSleep Award for the Best Story of 2019 with under 500 upvotes. I was extremely touched, this was a story I was fond of and was happy to see the appreciation for it.
Well, this morning I woke up to the news that my short story
Forever, A Drug, had won the
NoSleep Award for Best Single-Part Story of 2019. Truly cannot put this into words, this was an emotional writing process that really connected with people in a way I didn't anticipate.
I'm blown away, thanks to all who voted. There's more to come in 2020!
