However it means you can deal with it in a variety of ways too.

Reading, watching movies, going out for a long walk in a scenic area are a few good choices. Keep up your daily inspiration/creativity. Find something or someone that inspires you. It's important to keep your artsy side well fed.

In a technical sense, writer's block might hit you because the particular scene you're writing is "off" in some manner. Usually it's because there's something you don't particularly like about it. In that case, skip it for a bit and write another scene.

If you're really stubborn and want to try to hammer the scene out regardless then change the POV to a different character. It helps to flesh out ideas by seeing the scene from a different perspective.

And finally, it's okay to take a step back from what's giving you trouble. Don't be afraid to take a break. Your story is in your head, it'll come back so give it a little time.(less)
