I'm a writer and speaker with a special interest in English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, and Shakespearean history and culture in America. I draw inspiration from numerous visits to Great Britain and Ireland, and more than 30 years traveling across the US and Canada exploring places with links to the countries of the British Isles.

I spent more than three years visiting theaters, festivals, gardens, museums, and historic sites across the country for Finding Shakespeare in America. I’m currently working on Finding Scotland in America, which will be followed by Finding Ireland in America, and Finding England and Wales in America.
