I wrote Chill Out & Stop Making This Weird: A Girl's Survival Guide Extraordinaire to fill this void and provide a framework for children to navigate this tricky part of puberty in a light-hearted, humorous approach. The book provides essential information that tweens/teens want to know, but feel awkward asking. The reader knows what is going on in Maddie's head and heart, and how she relates and copes throughout her pubescent journey.(less)
