I do write every day, but it's not always the same type of writing. I sometimes write only in my journal. Other days, I'm more involved in my writing in the form of short stories or a novel. Writers should try submitting their work to journals, agents, or publishers after they have composed several drafts of a work and, preferably, had someone else provide feedback on that work. When rejections arrive, as they inevitably will, keep writing and submitting. Having grit is key in the writing business. (less)

She has lost her job, lives with her mother, and works for her brother until something better comes her way. She cultivates a romance, but, at the same time, she's still taken with the baby's father, her ex-boyfriend. I also have a few short stories on the back burner. (less)

"An insightful look at three generations living under the same roof. The true "sages", for me, ended up being the grandmother and the youngest child, Troy. The line that resonated with me the most comes from Troy: "all the craziness we go through and " Read more of this review »
