Kayla Maya is the author of YA fantasy. Song of Storms is her debut novel.

Her first love has always been fantasy, but bold heroines, forbidden romances, and magic are her favorites. She takes pride in her writing and her characters, especially if she sometimes imagines being the main character.

Kayla lives in the bustling city of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and shares her life with her husband and her many assortment of furry creatures, which includes, but does not limit to, cats, dogs, and maybe a ferret named Caesar! When not writing she can be found reading other authors, if not taking long strolls along the Lake Fayetteville side of town.

Demons In My Head by Britt Andrews
"This was clearly rushed even after having 2+ years from the last book. Over half of the book is full of the battle in Besmot that we saw from Emerald Lakes. To me it seemed like it was used for filler so that there would be more pages to make a highe" Read more of this review »

"ARC Review
⭐️

Britt Andrews is a grifter. Do not give this author any of your money.

I received this book as a paid-for ARC as part of her abortion of a Kickstarter. It was a $6 add-on, that she then turned around and gave to all backers for free.

I don" Read more of this review »

"One star is generous for this. If I could have left zero stars I would have. Most of the story is full of stuff we have already read. So it’s pointless. Then the story makes no sense things just happen with no explanation. There’s little to no spice " Read more of this review »

"THIS BOOK!! Ok, so, this is a retelling of the Nordic tale “The Kidnapping of Idun”. Eira is a fierce, 20 year old who can wield magic due to ancient ruins that have been tattooed down her arms, and has her trusty wolf sidekick, Fenrir, with her at a" Read more of this review »

“Why would you risk everything for this girl? A girl that was born from the loins of certain destruction?” Kol’s eyes met mine. “Because there are things worth fighting for.”

“Power corrupts everyone.” Fenrir told me sadly. “No matter who wields it.”
Kayla Maya, A God's Demise

“The moment we touched was the end of me. It was then that I realized that I needed you in a way I never needed anyone else. I needed a heart because what was a man to love without a heart?”
