I am a photographer and now writer from Saskatchewan. My family includes my lovely wife Karen and two children Julia and Daniel. We also have three dogs Eva the Brittany Spaniel, Bruno the golden retriever and Agnes the genetically diverse rescue dog.

I have been doing weekly dog photography projects on social media for over eight years now. My writing and dogversations grew organically from that as a way to tell stories behind the photos. Over the past years the dogversations grew and tell the personalities of each of my pups.

This one felt back on track for me. Murderbot reads so much better when there is some internal emotional and intellectual conflict. Also, so glad this is fiction. Hard to imagine living in a world where corporations have more power than governments. ...more

David Leswick rated a book really liked it Rogue Protocol (The Murderbot Diaries, #3) by Martha Wells (Goodreads Author)	Error rating book. Refresh and try again. Rate this book Clear rating 1 of 5 stars 2 of 5 stars 3 of 5 stars 4 of 5 stars 5 of 5 stars
Interesting and fun with everyone’s favorite socially awkward ironically ethical murderbot. The plot line was interesting, but simpler than in book one. But the writing also felt simpler which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I think the symbologist part of Robert Landon’s character has become a bit of a punchline with the few simple line drawings in this book. Seriously - working out a diagram for a mri and saying it’s like the Flyers logo is not up to the Da Vinci Code ...more

Way more of an epic than I had suspected it would be. The humping large blocks of time for both story lines worked really well. The writing was excellent and the concepts will stay with me for a long time. And the end … perfect.
