“I know I shouldn’t do this, take so many pills. But it hurts so bad, I just wonder if I’m ill. I heard an old saying, if looks could kill. I look in the mirror just to see if it’s real. I’m not living for myself, just for everyone else. But I’m tired of this headache deep in my brain, take it all away, I just can’t take this pain. Oh, I know I shouldn’t do this, it isn’t good. But it hurts so bad, I wonder if I should. I heard an old saying about a wolf, and I like to play dress-up, if only I could… Make this headache go away, deep in my brain, baby take it all away, wash it out with the rain. I’m not living for myself, just for everyone else. So maybe I’ll take two, of the pills off the shelf…”

“oblivion is inevitable, and that we'are all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and i know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and i am in love with you.”

“Love is when you give someone else the power to destroy you, and you trust them not to do it.”

“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

The title sort of explains it: I'm starting a book club. It's online, can be completely anonymous, and is user-friendly. So far, I have no members.I want this book club to be a safe place for all people of all ages, races, genders, and sexualities to embrace literature and the love of books together. My goal is to increase social understanding, literary skills, and bring deep discussions to all those who want it.
The book club is connected to my blog called Reporter³⁴ which reviews books and interviews authors, and things around that sort.
I plan for the meetings to be every other week, and for them to be kept within an hour and under--so it wouldn't take up much time, nor require a lot of responsibility. I want to focus on the genres of poetry, literature, romance, and general "deep" novels, but would be willing to expand if the audience grew into a liking for something else.
Just tell me if you want to be in the book club.
