From an early age, John D. P. Martin has attempted his luck at becoming a professional daydreamer, until he found out that it was quite hard to trade those dreams for food at the supermarket. With that short-lived career behind he resorted to working in the software industry instead, to pay the bills.

The first manuscript he remembers writing had something to do with ten-year-olds investigating a haunted mansion. He thinks.

The stories continued to live for many years only on his head and on many notebooks, of various shapes and sizes.
