I pulled up anchor at 18 and joined the Navy to escape a small town in the Mojave desert. Through many twists and turns I made my way north to Alaska. I came for a job, but stayed for the adventure. Shepard I'm currently working on the sequel to The Dark Land, set in the Copper/Tanada Lake region of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, and still based on the…moreI'm currently working on the sequel to The Dark Land, set in the Copper/Tanada Lake region of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, and still based on the Ahtna/Upper Tanana legends of the Cet'aenn or "People with Tails."

I am also working on a paranormal romance/historical fiction set in Dawson City, YT during the peak of the 1898 gold rush. I hope to self publish A Drink of Darkness in the fall of 2020 or Spring of 2021.(less)
