JD Mitchell is an Indiana native and member of the Indiana Writers Center where she’s able to share her inner nerd with others passionate about storytelling. Tapping her love of fantasy and mythology, JD is the author of RISE OF THE SONS, RECKONING OF THE SONS, and is working on the third installment of the series.

Sure, there are days when I can’t even look at my computer because I’m burnt out. But there are days when I open a blank page, step in to a fantastical world, and don’t emerge for eight hours.

A quote from Toni Morrison perfectly captures what I mean. “If there’s a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” (less)
