Currently retired from engineering. As a musician I play regularly at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. As a writer I've published poetry in several journals and anthologies, flash fiction and short stories in both English and Esperanto, and published two novels, The Dancer and the Pirate, a gay romance novel, and The Great Disruption, a post apocalyptic novel about the aftermath of a deadly pandemic that I SWEAR I started writing in 2015 and had the first draft completed by 2018. A coming of age story skillfully done

A sweet and engaging coming of age story. Beautifully and realistically rendered emotions with a scenario which at first seems dubious, but Spencer skillfully makes you believe it.
