How do you get inspired to write?

-A latte with honey and cinnamon seems to trigger me into wanting to create.

-As does Vince Guaraldi jazz trio music. I've been using that as my trigger for writing ever since college.

-If I wake up super early--like 5 a.m.--and the house is quiet, it is easier to focus and get into a writing groove.

-I challenge myself to write 2,000 words each day when writing a book and it's a bit of competition for myself.(less)
