“Read, read, read. Read everything -- trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it.
Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window.”

You're welcome Anna. My activity here can be a little intermittent here too sometimes although I really enjoy it. It's a great way to learn about interesting books and gain fresh perspectives and impressions about those I've already read.
Thank you for the invitation and for your kind words Rob. I haven’t been particularly active here recently but hope to return to Goodreads more often in the future. Looking forward to seeing what you’re reading!
Thanks for your friend request, Rob! I've been eye-balling Augustus for a while, but never quite decided if I should put it on the TBR list or not. You've pushed the decision for me!
Thank you Angela. I really appreciate your interest in my books. I hope you will enjoy them. The history within them is pretty interesting. I will have to write a few more reviews here now I think!
Thank you for reaching out Rob! i am looking forward to reading your books and to seeing your reviews in my newsfeed! Kind regards! A
