A lifelong fan of classic mysteries and Grand Opera, Ms. Cooper is hard at work on the third book in the series. She lives quietly with her partner, children, two dogs, and three cats in a very noisy house in South Texas.

L…moreI had a very long period of writer's block - years of just a complete drought. Near the end of it, I thought it meant I wasn't meant to be a writer. Looking back I can see what happened was I gave up on trying and just stopped writing. Everyone gets writer's block at some point or other. The secret to breaking through is to keep looking for the words.(less)
