TS Arthur is a multi genre author from the UK who enjoys chasing words as they appear to her at random, inconvenient times. A mummy, ex-teacher and avid reader, she squeezes in writing when the family are napping or busy playing. You’ll often find her sat writing whilst being battered by a teddy or plastic axe, or sometimes a cat paw.

Happy to try any genre, her stories mostly feature relatable characters that everyone can enjoy. She has always carried a notebook and held dreams of being an author, although it took longer than planned to get the ball rolling. Whilst her life may be busy and hectic at times, she will always continue building a wide range of stories and characters to help readers achieve that ‘escape’.

Hallowed Oath by T.S. Arthur
"Hallowed Oath has a unique storyline of two worlds colliding. Aspen and Sabre have both had their issues of fitting in, but when their paths collide their lives have never felt so right. If you’re looking for easy reading then this is one for you. I " Read more of this review »

J.K. Rowling
“Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all those who live without love.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

George Bernard Shaw
“Make it a rule never to give a child a book you would not read yourself.”
George Bernard Shaw

William Shakespeare
“To die, - To sleep, - To sleep!
Perchance to dream: - ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come,
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;”
William Shakespeare, Hamlet

Linda Kage
“Sometimes, the Lord just takes blessed people because they've filled their purpose early. Everyone plays their own song. They sing their story to the world and leave behind a melody of memories. Sometimes... their song is cut short and ends too early. But that doesn't mean their music was any less sweet or that they left any less of an impression.”
Linda Kage, The Stillburrow Crush

Henry Scott Holland
“Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just round the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!”
Henry Scott Holland, Death is Nothing at All
