Born in windy southern Alberta, Bonny grew up in a farming community surrounded by waving fields of wheat and barley.

A university education opened doors to different jobs across many industries. The most influential of those jobs was as a police officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. She has fond memories of both her fellow officers and experiences from the Force.

Bonny finds inspiration in the natural world around her: the wind in the trees, waving fields of grain, fat healthy cattle in the field, and bumble bees clamoring about in flower blossoms.

She continues to experiment with different characters and voices, to find a writing style that resonates.

Her childhood fascination with books never diminished and Bonny finally sat down ...more
