Amazon Best Selling Author, Doug Kane, is a retired Pulmonary and Critical Care physician, author, runner, and animal lover. He started his creative journey writing songs by age twelve. After two years study at Berklee College of Music he veered off to follow his other love, medical science. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia and proceeded to Vanderbilt University, where he trained and performed research. During his time as Associate Clinical Professor at MCV and private practice, he honed his medical skills and came to appreciate the beautifully diverse and complex nature of the human condition.
