I'm basically a documentary maker with a broad set of skills. I've written quite a few books now, and enjoy that process a lot. It's a very personal way to communicate. Rock Star Self Help is my latest and connects to all the things I've done before.

I'm best known in Australia as a producer and director of social history documentaries for TV/Radio and online. But to a particular crowd, I'm better known as the songwriter for the ‘indie’ band the Lighthouse Keepers, who played around Australia and Europe in the mid 1980’s. I've continued to work in sound and music throughout my career.
