Liz Champion is a writer, teacher, and communications specialist from Yorkshire. She writes a weekly Slice of Life blog (fuelled by caffeine and cake) about the highs and lows of everyday life.

Her first book, Cake, anyone? Scenes from everyday life in extraordinary times, is a collection of nonfiction stories about the chaos, confusion and comedy of her daily life in lockdown. Her stories are honest, relatable, and quick to find the funny side of life.

As well as writing, Liz loves books, cake, tea, more books, more cake, more tea, walking her dogs, running and spending time with her horses.
