When someone tells me how much they connected to my book, it lets me know th…moreFor me, the best thing about being a writer is hearing positive feedback. When someone tells me how much they connected to my book, it lets me know that I am doing what I am meant to do, and that I am good at it! We all get moments of insecurity, and of course this can come with releasing a book into the world. When my readers get exactly what I was trying to portray in my poems, my heart starts beating faster. Its an amazing feeling when people not only listen, but they hear me and understand. And with poetry, people can actually feel me! (less)
