How do you deal with writer’s block?

On the occasion I'm feeling uninspired, I stop doing…moreGenerally speaking, my issue is finding the time to write rather than figuring out what to write. On the occasion I'm feeling uninspired, I stop doing what I'm doing and work on something else. For example, if I'm stuck on where to go plot-wise, I will go back and do some editing on previous sections. This will often provide me with inspiration.

When I'm stuck because I'm having trouble describing an action scene or a romantic scene, I'll act it out. (Yeah, yeah, I know. Go ahead and giggle.) Because my background is in acting, physically walking through the action or picturing it in my mind as if it were a movie tends to work.(less)
