Thank you to everyone who has purchased and bought a copy of my latest book, The Wedding Dress Quilt. I am awed and grateful for the positive response.

Many people have asked if there will be a sequel and/or if there will be a series around the idyllic town of Waxahachie. I can't provide details, per the publisher. What I can tell you is that I am working on something. Keep checking back here as eventually I'll be able to provide info.

Meanwhile, I am still doing book signings around Texas. If you're interested in attending one check out the dates on my blog:

Hope that life is giving you cherries and you're happily floating through the holiday season. Till next time....

I am terrified of them and I have been since I saw the first one. No one in my family, much less myself, could account for why I'd become hysterical if one came close to me. My older brothers were instructed to never, ever chase me with a snail. I'm not sure what my parents told them would happen if they did. Whatever it was they got the message. However, that didn't stop them from chasing me with very large lizards and snakes they kept as pets. For some reason, the lizards and snakes didn't bother me at all. I determined that something happened in a past life that caused me to be terrified of the slimy things in this life. I'm pretty sure that I was thrown into a pit of snails that crawled all over me. I must have suffered a massive heart attack and died on the spot in that pit, because I have a very limited memory of that incident. I honestly don't know if I could write a book about this irrational fear. I'd be freaking out so much that it would take 10 years to complete the first draft. (less)

Loved the story as a child, and have always wondered what it would be like to wander around Wonderland and meet the characters in the book. I'd like to be buddies with the White Rabbit.(less)

Halloween is Scarier Than Ever!

When I was growing up, admittedly eons ago in the last century, we had fun on Halloween. We'd go to haunted houses, the Halloween fair at the elementary school, giggled at seeing adults dress up giving out candy, and laughed at the creative decorations on the porches where we screamed "Trick or Treat!"
