Goodreads asked Jeffree Wyn Itrich:

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Jeffree Wyn Itrich Since I was quite small I've had an irrational fear of slugs and snails. It's not because they're slimy, it's more than that. I am terrified of them and I have been since I saw the first one. No one in my family, much less myself, could account for why I'd become hysterical if one came close to me. My older brothers were instructed to never, ever chase me with a snail. I'm not sure what my parents told them would happen if they did. Whatever it was they got the message. However, that didn't stop them from chasing me with very large lizards and snakes they kept as pets. For some reason, the lizards and snakes didn't bother me at all. I determined that something happened in a past life that caused me to be terrified of the slimy things in this life. I'm pretty sure that I was thrown into a pit of snails that crawled all over me. I must have suffered a massive heart attack and died on the spot in that pit, because I have a very limited memory of that incident. I honestly don't know if I could write a book about this irrational fear. I'd be freaking out so much that it would take 10 years to complete the first draft.
