From failing a grade as the only kid incapable of reading and writing to being a self-published author! I struggled my entire way through school on an IEP and was bullied for how long it took me to grasp things.

I grieved the death of many loved ones. My father was in prison for the majority of my life before passing away in a car accident. I've dealt heavily with suicidal thoughts and depression. My anxiety ate me up inside like my many insecurities. Like most of you guys, I had a handful of traumatic break-ups and a lifetime of betrayal. That isn't the half of it but it doesn't matter. My life is blessed!

I haven't always felt blessed, my life used to make no sense to me. But now it does because readers from all around the world can feel

This House Is Broken Part 2: An Anti-Religion Cult Sequel

Book 2 will be out in September! I am very appreciative of every reader of Book 1. I just want you guys to know that I've put so much into giving you guys a superior sequel.

Part 2 will have a much faster pace, a dangerous cult and its leader, two of the darkest characters I have ever written, the dynamic of mixing the cult with characters from Book 1, more violence, grotesque hallucinations, and Read more of this blog post »

Killer on the loose!

It's a novel you can hear, feel, smell, and see. An enjoyable slow burn with some true crime elements. Joseph Hood never disappoints.

“many other things to bother him about life at home was this… the best it gets is isolation. There was no friend he could turn to, no one to listen and care about him. Every day, he lived this nightmare alone.”
Dylan Colón, Meet The Outcasts

“Just know it means more to me that you listened," Corey said as a single teardrop ran down his face. Vic didn't call him a bitch for it, either; he expressed that it made Corey a badass. Vic felt that all men should cry if they were truly confident. He asked Corey, "Who is the more confident man? The one who holds back his tears because he doesn't want to look weak? Or the one who passionately feels and cries because he gives no fucks about how he looks to others?" "The one who gives no fucks is the more confident man.”
Dylan Colón, Meet The Outcasts

“Becca felt more like a parent than an older sister. She was the one who cared for the children when their mother was working. Whenever their mom was at home, she was in a pissy mood. If by some rare occasion Amanda wasn't moody, she was mentally and emotionally exhausted. Becca empathized with her mother, but she also wished that empathy was reciprocated. Amanda was so consumed in her own self-pity that she failed to recognize how her children felt.”
