Britny Kelly was born and raised in Pennsylvania. At the age of 17, she joined the Army, where she served two years before getting out and becoming a full-time mother. After a traumatic divorce which left her homeless and pregnant with her third child, she returned home to Pennsylvania, building a life for herself and her children. She started school in 2014, and her writing took a back seat in her life to make sure that her children were taken care of. In 2018, she suffered a small stroke, and with it came the inspiration to live her life to the best ability possible. Finally purchasing her own home in 2020, she put pen to paper again and finished her first novel, a continuation of a high school assignment that she had begun over fifteen y ...more

I quite enjoyed this book with a mythical tale of adventure, knighthood, and having all of ones worldviews questioned. It was a slow start, but not in a boring way, but I like that the pacing was natural for the story with highs and lows. Saw the end ...more
