One of the things I do is get to a quiet place, close my eyes, then breathe slowly and deeply. I think about why I am writing the book and the people it will impact. I am always connected personally with the books I write so searching deeply within helps me to focus on the next sentence...not the next paragraph or even the next chapter. Once I receive that next sentence, which may sometimes be in the middle of the night, I immediately record it whether on paper or my phone notes. After that, I notice that words begin to flow.(less)

I love the feeling I get when words began to flow from my spirit that I know will inspire, motivate, and encourage the reader. When I write, I connect with the words on such an intimate level that allows them to flow easily. When I receive feedback from the readers telling me how much my books are helping them, it makes it all worthwhile. I receive the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of others. That is truly the best thing about being a writer.(less)
