Dawn Beecroft Teetzel is a writer, poet, retired farmer and shepherd, a spinner of tales and wool. She resides in Southwestern Ontario with her life-mate and love, Ted. Her short works can be found in several magazines and anthologies. My Mary, A Story of One Barnardo Home Child is scheduled for release through Black Rose Writing in February, 2024.

Raised by loving parents on a family farm, she led an idyllic childhood. Her gentle upbringing is reflected in all her works, however, an astute reader will notice an undercurrent, a haunting suggestive of past lives and her struggle to adapt to modern life.
