Thankful for YOU
Friends, as I celebrate Thanksgiving this year, I’m going to be thinking about YOU. I’m grateful that you follow my blog. I’m grateful that you read my books. I’m grateful that you share those books with friends and post your reviews to Goodreads, Amazon, and other sites.
I’m also grateful that we’re friends.

There was a time in my life when I had zero friends outside of my family. That was the hardest time for me because I’m a social introvert who absolutely craves people and friendshi...

Culture Through Food {with Recipes!}
Novelists in November turns one year old on Wednesday, November 19. That means “Melting-Pot Thanksgiving,” my story in the collection, has been available for readers to discover for an entire year this week!
Where did the time go?
Since it’s been a full year in just a couple of days, it feels like the right time to share a spoilery article about what the Thanksgiving meal in the story means for leading lady Sarah Jones.
In fact, I’m going to let Sarah tell you herself…

Sorrow and Hope
Friends, it’s been a hard week. My heart aches so much for Charlie Kirk’s family. Hearing that he was martyred for his faith and murdered for his political stances left me feeling hollow and weary. This world is evil, and that saddens me.

Yet, seeing the revival flooding into the world, and especially the United States of America (my home country), fills me with hope. There are still good people doing great things for Jesus Christ, and that uplifts my spirit.
I’ve been praying for reviv...

5 Bits of Adventure
Friends, it’s been a wild two weeks since we last spoke. Here’s a glimpse into a handful of my most recent adventures.
#1 Car TroubleOne of my family’s vehicles needed a new transmission, so I rode along to help navigate to a new-to-us transmission shop over an hour away. Fun times! Seriously, I do love navigating, even when I sometimes get it wrong. Those are learning moments that help my mental road maps sharpen in clarity. I love the alternate route we discovered. It got us off the bus...

A Season of Busyness
One of my clients, Shannon Sue Dunlap, recently won the Selah Award for her novel Love Overboard. So exciting! My name was mentioned as an editor in the announcement presentation during the ceremony. How neat is that?!

If you’re looking for a copy editor for your next Christian fiction novel, please check out the Copyediting Openings section below. I’d love to work with you!

Summer Reading List
Long time no chat, friends!
There are a million books on my summer reading list. I won’t get to a fraction of them, but here are some I’m especially looking forward to.

My summer reading list covers a wide variety of genres, so there’s something for my every mood. I’m particularly excited to reread my stories in Springtime in Surrey and Novelists in November (I’m nearly done with that last one). It’s fun to have stories published that I can now read whenever I lik...
