Nolan Thomas is the author of The Rolinska Thriller Series which includes The Girl Who Knew Too Much and Trust Evil. A graduate of the University of Illinois, she spent her career working with numbers and contracts, always feeling there was a novel inside, waiting to be written. Nolan set out to hone her skills. Took classes. Read. Wrote. Loved it. Doubted herself. Kept writing and learning. Discovered On Writing by Stephen King. Tried his advice. Her imagination listened. The author is a member of the Alliance of Independent Authors. She and her husband live in Wisconsin.

One of the best, if not the best, villain I've ever encountered was Dr. Mark Ahr…moreIt wasn't so much an idea for a book as it was an idea for a villain. One of the best, if not the best, villain I've ever encountered was Dr. Mark Ahriman in Dean Koontz's False Memory. This character is despicable and chilling, which elevated the intensity of the suspense in that book. Dr. Ahriman seems an impossible adversary to defeat. Of course, it's Dean Koontz, so all the characters in the book were so well crafted and memorable, with a great story. So I began constructing Nika Rolinska, and the story formed from her.(less)
